Attendees could pick the topic of interest, and the panel could be moderated by someone with some expertise, or at least an interest - more of a sharing of knowledge and experience.

The cost of meals has risen slightly - it will cost about $40 to feed people three meals and pay for the break food. The room will cost $400 to rent for approximately 25 hours. Registration is $80 So after twelve people sign up - 10 people x the 40 dollars not covering food= $400 to pay for the room, we have broken even.

I shopped the Halloween sales in 2008 and have some cute shirts all the organizers can wear if they want. They say Trick or Treat on them. If we want to go with Halloween, I have an assortment of shirts and decorations! Pam

It would be nice to provide the meeting room to the MLA Board for their meeting, which follows the retreat.  We will probably need a meeting room for the OMNI meeting also since we are meeting at Chico.

Is there any other meeting we could volunteer to host? Some other group is meeting in Livingston, I think.
